Jackie worked for the circuit court for five years prior to becoming a dental hygienist in 2013. She is passionate about the way oral health can affect systemic health, and is a great educator for our patients. Jackie is the office ‘spark plug’, as she radiates positivity throughout the day.
Residing in Pleasant Hill where she grew up, Jackie married her high school sweetheart, and together they have a beautiful 15 year old daughter. Jackie loves spending time with family and enjoys camping, boating, and traveling. As a proud breast cancer survivor, Jackie lives every day to the fullest!
Mandy has a background in dental assisting and has been working in our office as a hygienist for the past 10 years. She has a gentle and caring heart and makes her patients feel comfortable and at ease. Mandy is an absolute delight to be around! Patients and co-workers would describe her as fun, energetic and loyal, and she is a true blessing to our office.
As the owner of a sweet-spirited Golden Retriever named Huckleberry, Mandy and her husband spend lots of time outdoors keeping him entertained. Along with her love of gardening, reading, and good food, she has enjoyed adding Cross Fit to her weekly routine. She has an obsession with pickles, and looks forward to her annual canning session with her mom every summer.
Karee is knowledgeable with both the clinical and administrative aspects of dentistry, as she started her career in dental assisting 10 years ago before transitioning to a front desk position. Offering a wealth of knowledge, Karee also always has a smile on her face and goes above and beyond for both the rest of the team and our patients.
As a true Oregonian, Karee enjoys spending time with her family while camping and doing other outdoor activities. Karee loves to play with her family’s Great Dane named Gracie and cheering on the kids during swim lessons and meets throughout the year.
Kayla graduated from the LCC dental assisting program in 2014 and we are lucky to have her as part of our team. Although new to the dental profession, she knew early on that she wanted to work in dentistry as she would ‘play dentist’ with her mother’s dish gloves, doing exams on her siblings. Kayla is an eager learner and always enthusiastic about learning more about dentistry and how to provide the best care to our patients.
Since family is very important to Kayla, she tries to get back home to Redmond as frequently as she can. She is newly married and both her and her husband love all things Disney. Kayla hopes to visit Ireland one day, as she recently discovered she is part Irish!
Erica has been assisting in the dental field for 20 years, and brings a vast knowledge of all aspects of dentistry to our office. She is upbeat, compassionate, and genuinely enjoys connecting with her patients to make sure their visit to our office is a positive experience.
Riding since the age of 10, Erica enjoys taking care of her horses and spending any chance she can on an equestrian ride or hiking in the woods. While raising a 3 year old son with her husband limits her free time, Erica loves art, and immersing herself in a watercolor or pastel painting to relax and recharge.
Megan completed the dental assisting program at LCC in 2014. She has become an integral part of our team and is always ready to lend a helping hand. Megan is quick witted and strives to ensure patients leave having an enjoyable experience at our office.
A past track athlete, Megan continues to enjoy running and hiking during her free time. She also is heavily involved in her son, Preston’s various sporting activities and as his biggest cheerleader!
Libby previously worked for Dr. William Sproul, Dr. Sonja’s father for 25 years. While she worked for Dr. Sproul as his assistant, in her spare time, she would babysit his children. Little did she know, the three year old little girl would grow up to become her current boss! Libby is the glue that holds our office together and cares deeply for our patients. She exudes positive energy and patients know her by her joyful laugh and caring demeanor.
Originally from Michigan, the PNW captured Libby’s heart and she hasn’t looked back! With a love for the outdoors, while not working, Libby can be found camping, at the beach, and caring for her two loving dogs.
DENTAL SERVICES & PROCEDURES
OUR HAPPY PATIENTS
As someone who used to put off going to the dentist due to anxiety, I could not have felt more relieved by my experience with Dr. Sonja and her staff. From the moment you walk in, you are made to feel welcomed and relaxed; Dr. Sonja and her hygienists are very caring and gentle. I am grateful to be over my fear of going to the dentist!
Our experience with Sonja was one of a kind. We were new to the area and the entire office staff welcomed us with smiling faces. I needed to have two wisdom teeth removed and they walked me through the process, starting with clear expectations beforehand all the way through care after the procedure. Even when we would call to set a regular appointment, the staff knew who we were and asked us about our lives. They cared for us, both in the big dentist chair and as neighbors. Highly recommended.
The dental hygienists are thoughtful and knowledgeable and do a great pain free job. Dr. Sonja makes you feel at home and you can tell cares about her patients. I personally have a lot of questions and she is always attentive and honest. Overall I would highly recommend this dentist for anyone.
Dr. Sonja Sproul and her team are absolutely wonderful! I’ve always been okay with going to the dentist but I look forward to it now. Dr. Sonja and her team are highly professional, exceptionally skilled, and are very kind and friendly. I live and work in the Albany/Corvallis area and happily make the trip to River Road in Eugene every 6 months because I know I’m going to receive exceptional care and have a great experience. I HIGHLY recommend Sonja Sproul Dentisty. I can’t imagine going to any other dentist.
Seriously, this office is the bomb. Starting from when they greet you, until the time you leave. I had my wisdom teeth pulled here, and Sonja did such a great job that I had 0 pain the entire healing process. I highly recommend people go to this office. Sonja’s bright smile is reason enough for me!
Fabulous all around! Sonia is gentle with your teeth and walks you through the process. Her employees are extraordinarily nice and helpful!
Sonja and her staff were all just great. They provide an excellent experience, are very informative and made me feel as though we were all family.
The office has a nice practice of helping their clients feel as though they are getting very personal service while maintaining a highly professional posture. The support staff is exceptional…
After feeling self conscious about not keeping up with my dental care, I went long enough until my dentist reached retirement. Remembering a friend told me to like Sonja’s page on Facebook. Cool, she’s new! Turns out this is the most fun I’ve had at the dentist’s office.
I was pleased with my interactions with everyone’s manner. I particularly appreciated discussing my options for cleaning while I was away for the next six months.
